Why not have a professional who is a Doctor of Physcial Therapy, Exercise Physiologist, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist work with you to achieve your fitness goals. Physical therapists are "mechanics of the human body" that can correctly diagnose any movement disorder that may interfere with a fitness program. I'll inspire you and push you appropriately so you get as much benefit as possible and we’ll do it in a safe manner. Prior to beginning a personal training program, each client is given a Functional Movement Screen, in which I assess how you move, your joint mobility, flexibility, body mechanics and core strength. Through this process, and my ongoing monitoring of your progress throughout your training, I can identify physical problems that put you at risk for injury, and take pre-emptive steps to reduce the possibility of an injury occurring.
This progam is also ideal for those who have recently recovered from an injury or surgery but need to safely restore/improve your fitness and conditioning level. It is very important to work with a physical therpist to safely implement a strength and conditioning program to avoid reinjury. Contact me with any questions or concerns.
